NTUB Teams Garnering Awards for Innovative Entrepreneurship

The last few years have seen the rise of innovative entrepreneurship. NTUB creates a school culture that encourages learning by developing a start-up, making innovative entrepreneurship a popular pursuit on campus. NTUB teams have garnered major awards in domestic and international entrepreneurship competitions, an example of which includes the grand prize, second prize and third prize, at the third Cross-Strait Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Contest. The NTUB team also received RMB80,000 as the start-up capital. Furthermore, another NTUB team won the Golden Award and a NT$200,000 scholarship at the 2017 FinTech Creative Award in Asian Chinese Region with the mobile application “Quants.ai”. NTUB teams have an excellent track record.

Overseas Chinese student recruitment has been a primary focus of government education policies in Taiwan. NTUB actively participates in overseas education fairs and offers overseas Chinese programs. In that vein, NTUB has set up offshore programs operated in Southeast Asian countries to facilitate further collaboration in higher education. NTUB aspires to introduce its outstanding vocational training traditions to other countries and engages in academic exchange.

NTUB has established sister-school partnerships in as many as 15 countries as of this date. Students are encouraged to take advantage of the international exchange programs and overseas internships to gain international exposure.
