Ethereum Falls 10.10% In Selloff
Investing.com – Ethereum was trading at $181.32 by 21:54 (01:54 GMT) on the Investing.com Index on Wednesday, down 10.10% on the day. It was the largest one-day percentage loss since September 5.
The move downwards pushed Ethereum’s market cap down to $18.65B, or 9.73% of the total cryptocurrency market cap. At its highest, Ethereum’s market cap was $135.58B.
Ethereum had traded in a range of $181.30 to $186.57 in the previous twenty-four hours.
Over the past seven days, Ethereum has seen a drop in value, as it lost 35.92%. The volume of Ethereum traded in the twenty-four hours to time of writing was $1.54B or 13.71% of the total volume of all cryptocurrencies. It has traded in a range of $177.29 to $234.49 in the past 7 days.
At its current price, Ethereum is still down 87.26% from its all-time high of $1,423.20 set on January 13.

Bitcoin was last at $6,268.0 on the Investing.com Index, down 1.50% on the day.
XRP was trading at $0.25851 on the Investing.com Index, a loss of 5.92%.
Bitcoin’s market cap was last at $109.02B or 56.90% of the total cryptocurrency market cap, while XRP’s market cap totaled $10.48B or 5.47% of the total cryptocurrency market value.
