HTC Unveils World’s First Blockchain Smartphone

HTC just unveiled the Exodus 1 smartphone. It is the world’s first blockchain-based phone. The handset is available for pre-order via HTC’s website. However, it can currently be purchased with bitcoin or Ethereum (another cryptocurrency). The Android-powered Exodus 1 is expected to ship in December and is selling for 0.15 BTC, about $965. The phone is said to be the most secure mobile device ever built and it doubles as a wallet for cryptocurrencies. It boasts a 6″ screen, a Snapdragon 845 processor, 6 GB RAM, and 128 GB of storage.
