Bin night made magical

As costume-themed bin outings sparked from isolation, a young Pakenham girl joined in on the trend by dressing as popular Disney character Elsa.
Five-year-old Jaymee Hall, who has autism spectrum disorder, dressed up as a main character from one of her all-time favourite movies, Frozen, before taking the bin out to the curb side.
“It was her dad’s idea. He asked if she wanted to dress up and take the bins out as she had watched some videos on the a Facebook page of other children doing the same thing,” Jaymee’s mum Kelly Ann said.
“Frozen is one of her favourite movies so she naturally jumped at the chance to dress up like her.”
A video of Jaymee casually rolling the bin out the front in fancy dress was posted to the viral Facebook group ‘Bin Isolation Outing’ and received nothing but positive responses.
Admitting isolation is hard, Ms Ann said her and her family lost their only income due to the coronavirus.
“We are a family where we lost our only income and have a five-year-old who loves school so much but can’t go,” she said.
“The priority for us is keeping her happy hence the bin activity. It’s simple to spread cheer and hello around Australia and now the globe.
“For us we didn’t even second guess posting it to Facebook. People are so welcoming and if our girl can make one persons day brighter by being Elsa? Then more power to her.”
