Potential Cardano & Litecoin Collaboration Coming Soon?

During the past few days, IOHK, the company behind Cardano announced several announcements ahead of the upcoming much anticipated Shelley mainnet.

This has pumped the prices of ADA like crazy which is up nearly 300% since YTD and 490% since March sell-off. These gains had ADA climbing over Litecoin and Bitcoin SV to capture 6th position with a market cap of $3.8 billion.

Currently, ADA/USD is trading at $0.132, up 20.52% in the past 24 hours.

Last night, Charles Hoskinson, creator of Cardano and CEO of IOHK took to Twitter to share an interest in working with Litecoin.

“@SatoshiLite it would be great to do something together. I love the idea of testing cross chain communication between Litecoin and Cardano. We got a lot of ideas and I’m sure you guys do too,” tweeted Hoskinson to Litecoin creator Charlie Lee.

Some crypto enthusiasts were excited about a potential collaboration. Lee responded to Hoskinson’s interest with a GIF “call my people,” mocking Hoskinson.

Cardano’s founder reached out to MetaMask for a PM, they asked him to send an email to support and his reply sent crypto twitter into a frenzy. This tweet has since been deleted.

Hoskinson, who is also the co-founder of Ethereum asked if “[email protected] still good?” Lee said they don’t have customer support and will reach out to chat.

So, overall there is a potential collab coming soon between Cardano and Litecoin and their fans are excited.

A few hours back, Hoskinson retook Twitter to share that he will be taking a break from social media and AMAs “until the hard fork on the 29th to deep focus on Goguen and the next parts of the roadmap.”

All of this has been amidst the surging price of ADA, the excitement about Shelley, and the controversy surrounding ADA being shilled to the old farmers by way of an MLM, Multi-Level Marketing, or pyramid selling.

Hoskinson clarified that this MLM has nothing to do with the Cardano Foundation and “appears to be a scam and they are using our pictures and logos without permission.”

Things took a turn when Hoskinson said they will contact Molly, the head of marketing at HashKey Hub who shared the information with a video on Twitter.

IOHK then reached HashKey Hub to see clarification and asked them to ensure their representatives aren’t making any defamatory statements about Cardano.

CT was pretty upset with Hoskinson’s behavior. “Even if he were in the right, the lack of professionalism makes him, ADA and his company look bad to anyone on the sidelines,” said trader DonAlt.
