The Delhi Police Thursday issued notice to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi seeking information on the sexual harassment victims that he mentioned in his speech during the Bharat Jodo Yatra in Kashmir in January. Police said they are ready to take legal action against the offenders but have not received a complaint so far. In a speech, Gandhi had said, “women who told me they have been raped, they have been molested. Few said they were molested by their relatives/known persons. When I asked them if  I should call the police, they told me no and said they wanted me to know. They didn’t want to inform the police because they said they would face more issues. So, yahi humare desh ki sacchai hai,”

the tenth Global Terrorism Index (GTI) report stated Afghanistan remains the country most impacted by terrorism for the fourth consecutive year, despite a reduction in attacks and deaths.  the report stressed that it “does not include acts of state repression and violence by state actors and, as such, acts committed by the Taliban are no longer included in the scope of the report since they took control of the government.
